Just recovered an old account of friend's and I didn't get any reward in return. I know his steam account name, password and the current email address. I contacted steam support and they asked for the first email address used, I submitted and added another alternative email address. Now if he tries to login, he'll get the confirmation code only from my email which he has no access to. The problem is if he contacts steam support then it'll be the same thing all over again, he'll just type in the first email address used for his account and provide another email address which he'll use to get the confirmation code. I know I can change the account name and the password but is there anyway to let steam support not ask the first email address used? He's got a bunch of arcanas in the account and didn't even give me one for helping.
